The WYD08 week with the Emmanuel Community

In spending WYD with the Emmanuel Community you will have the opportunity of experiencing these special days with young people from all over the world. With enthusiastic youth from different cultures you can participate in particular events organised by the Community, meeting new people, forming friendships and growing in faith. Some particular highlights include:

•   Prayerful Adoration
  
•   Exciting entertainment centred around the Gospel and the theme of WYD
  
•   Mission and outreach activities to the people of Sydney in prominent places, including a beach mission
  
•   Musicals, drama, a Priest band
  
•   A special evening of music, prayer, and testimony involving thousands of people
  
•   Formation in the faith
  
•   A central place to meet others, to pray, and to experience the best of Sydney
